Omaha, NE – With the start of a new year, leaders are assessing what’s the next step to move their organizations forward.

In today’s world of accelerating change and increasing demands, the ability to handle strategic challenges and act upon opportunities – with sufficient speed, agility, and innovation – is paramount to organizational success. The world is changing at a rate in which the systems, structures, and cultures built over the past century cannot keep up with current demands. If we don’t change the way we think, we are stuck in yesterday’s performance. As leaders, the key is to think differently – to develop a growth mindset within themselves and within those they lead.

One step in a positive direction is participating in Thought Patterns for High Performance®, a two-day leadership development workshop being held in Omaha Jan. 16 and 17. Presented by The Pacific Institute® and WELLCOM, this workshop will provide an experiential understanding of how the mindset fitness of leaders, and those they lead, impacts performance. This event will take place at The Right Track Facility in the CHI Health McAuley Fogelstrom Center in Omaha, NE. Pro Football Hall of Famer with the Kansas City Chiefs and proud Nebraska Cornhusker Will Shields will be the event’s keynote speaker at 8 a.m. on Jan. 16.

Through their collaborative work together, The Pacific Institute® and WELLCOM are committed to helping today’s leaders create healthy and high performance organizational cultures that can thrive in the digital age. The Jan. 16-17 workshop provides the perfect opportunity for leaders to enhance their tool kit with like-minded individuals starting the year off in a positive direction and sustaining positive change.

“It is a great program,” said Shields, who has participated in The Pacific Institute® program himself as a leader of several business organizations and charitable foundations. “You have to experience the workshop firsthand and it’s worth your time. It’s what you need to do, not only to lead others and your organization but to help you be a better person in all aspects of your life, period. Start with you,” Shields said.

Dr. Blake Faulkner, executive advisor at The Pacific Institute®, will lead the interactive workshop here in Omaha.  Faulkner began his career as a college football coach, faculty member, and athletic director, followed by more than two decades of successful experience leading colleges and universities through domestic and international expansions and large-scale change. Dr. Faulkner now devotes his life work to helping individuals, teams, organizations, and communities move from where they are to where they have the potential to be.

The Pacific Institute® has worked with over 50% of the Fortune 1000 companies such as Coca-Cola, as well as the University of Alabama football team, USA Swimming Team, and Defense Intelligence Agency among many others.

“The one common thread across all these high-performance organizations has been enlightened leaders that understand how important ‘mindset fitness’ is in individuals, teams and organizations reaching their full potential and sustaining high performance,” Dr. Faulkner said. “Taking part in this two-day workshop is an invaluable investment in yourself, those you lead, and your organization.”

The workshop will be facilitated by Master Facilitator for The Pacific Institute®, Jahmad Canley. Canley is internationally known as a top-level culture transformation consultant and peak performance coach. He focuses on helping people and organizations accomplish their goals and fulfill their potential. Canley’s endless dedication to empowerment, performance, and education for all people has allowed him the privilege to work with peak organizations such as Microsoft, Amazon, New York New York Hotel and Casino, Western Union, USA Swimming, and many more.

The Thought Patterns for High Performance® Leadership Development Workshop addresses individual and organizational habits of thought which affect individual, team, and organization performance, as well as the habits, attitudes, beliefs, and expectations that shape adaptive, engaged, and high-performance organizational cultures. Designed for leaders, the two-day session will also reveal how effective thinking engages and retains employees, propelling the organization to reach its full potential.

Building on five decades of high-performance programs, The Pacific Institute’s scientifically-driven and internationally-proven curriculum provides participants with the tools to develop an effective leadership mindset to take their organization to new levels of achievement. The tuition for the two-day workshop is $395 for non-profit participants and $495 for corporate participants. The workshop will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day and lunch will be provided both days. Advanced registration is required as space is limited.
