The Pacific Institute was founded by Lou and Diane Tice in 1971, in Seattle Washington. Since then, the company has transformed organizations in over 60 countries and across six continents spanning the globe. Its programs have been translated into more than 20 languages and has developed a reputation for offering the most practical and enlightening programs ever to come out of the fields of cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and personal growth.

 

The guiding principle of The Pacific Institute is that individuals have a virtually unlimited capacity for growth, fueled by creativity, and are able to adapt readily to changes taking place in this fast-paced technological age. Central to this idea is that individuals are responsible for their own actions and can regulate their behavior through a structured process that includes goal-setting, self-reflection, self-evaluation, and self-direction, among other things. By applying The Pacific Institute’s education, people develop their potential by changing their habits, attitudes, beliefs, and expectations. Lou Tice (1935-2012) and his wife Diane officially established The Pacific Institute as “a corporation dedicated to human fulfillment” in 1971, and their work still lives on to this day.
